Aflex Bioflex Ultra hose provides solution for a major dairy company
- Transfer of dairy products and filling machine hoses
- Movement of the filling nozzles causing issues
Ensuring product quality is essential to dairies, who often place great importance on their cows’ well-being. It is only through their comfort and happiness that they produce the best milk possible to make their dairy products. Once milk is drawn from the cow, ensuring the product passes through quality equipment helps to further safeguard product integrity. One dairy was using locally made hoses for their transfer of dairy products.
The hoses were failing due to the movement of the filling nozzles. Aflex recommended that the customer switches to Bioflex Ultra PTFE-lined hoses due to their kink resistance and hygiene assurance. The internally smooth bore of the Bioflex Ultra hose helps to ease cleaning and ensures sterility. The solution proved ideal, and the hoses are now installed on filling machines and transfer milk from tank to tank without problems. The non-stick properties of the PTFE lined hose ensures no contamination takes place.
